Turkey

I'm off to Turkey for a week tomorrow morning! So looking forward to it. I'm so fed up with the luxembourgish weather..It's raining all the time and it was only 13 degrees today.So I'll be back on the &th of September.

In love with flowers

This is my absolutely favourite dress this summer. I bought it some time ago from ASOS and I've been wearing it rather much ever since. I've been so in love with flowers this and also last summer. I have so many clothes with flower prints I had to promise mnyself not to buy any more ones..Excuse my weird face expression in the photos :O I think I have to practise posing :P

Living in an other time

The other day I took these photos with my sisters Marie-Laure and Stephanie. I wanted it to be 50's and 60's inspired. I think in the end it looked more 40's inspired then else. But however. We found the accesories  in my grandmother's attic. I found two belts that are exactly the way I wanted to buy. Money saved! The two pullovers are from the attic too but I have no idea how old they are. My grandmother said she didn't have any clothes from back in the 50's or so which I think is a pity. But anyaway I think she wouldn't have had any so great clothes because she wasn't so interested in dressing up.  The brown bag is an old schoolbag of my father or so. I absolutely love the umbrella! You can't really see it in the pictures but it's with lace!

We took the photos in my grandmother's old house which is empty now. The light was actually very bad in the house. I had to make the photos erhm clearer?  My younger sister Marie-Laure is 11 years old and the other one Stephanie is 14. I like it that the colours in the pictures are all matching and that the shades and colours look so good together. What do you think? In what time would you place the photos?

Lauren Hutton

Lauren Hutton fashion icon, model and actress was born in 1943. I had already read about her several times but I now saw something on her in the H&M magazine. Talking about the influence that old movie stars as Lauren had on the A/W collections this year. I really think she deserves to be called an icon. She looks sympathetic in these photos and I like her style. That hat looks great! Saw similiar hats in the new collections. I'm thinking of watching a film by her tonight. American Gigolo starring her and Richard Gere or so. Underneath is a photo of them in the film.

The third of August

It's my birthday today! I'm sixteen now! And i have my camera. Only making my birthday cake turned out as real disaster. First we had to bake the cake twice because the first one didn't go up enough. And then we made instead of whipped cream butter! Twice! And now we put this butter like thing in the cake..In the afternoon family will come to eat cake and celebrate. Hope it will taste as well ; ) Complete disaster haha. But for the rest my birthday is perfect so far. hope you have a great day ou there too! :)

Future

For my birthday next week I'm having this camera! A Nikon D3000 ordered at Amazon. And then I can do lots and lots of outfit posts. And I think photography might become a passion for me. So looking forward to it!!
